THE DOJO is a digital gathering of grooves, where music is the foundation, and openness and curiosity are rewarded. During this time of staying safe at home, The Dojo enables guests from all over the world to be entertained while seeing and connecting with each other. It is an open canvas for all guests to share their talents. No matter the situation, nothing can stop us from connecting with each other.


As the music industry pivots to online events during this time of quarantine, there’s a new event format, bubbling up especially in the club & nightlife scene that enables guests and artists/performers to interact and see each other as they would at an actual event and venue.


Instead of this being a potentially sterile performance, like a lot of the live streams can be, this is a truly interactive environment for the guests and the performers. This Sat 4/25, THE DOJO’s 3rd installment in the virtual event series is hosting a special 4hr set by the legendary original resident DJ of Studio 54, Nicky Siano, live from New York. The event will also feature performances by aerialists live from Las Vegas, a Comedy Room with standup comedians live from Los Angeles, and a more relaxed room where guests can converse and watch the creation of live visual art.


The Dojo experience starts with a quick comedic encounter with a bouncer before he lets everyone enter. The event is also raising money for the COVID-19 Sweet Relief fund.

There are many creative opportunities for artists and brands to integrate in this new format, and the founders ook forward to expanding this experience concept even in a post-quarantine world.



Husband and Wife, Toby and Monica Benson. Toby is an artist manager and entertainment marketer with over a decade of experience, specializing in live events. He is the co-founder of Versa, a music and lifestyle agency focused on talent buying, creative strategy, event programming, and festival operations. Toby has been interviewed by NPR, Billboard, Forbes, Vice, Time Out, and has spoken at ASCAP Music Expo, Winter Music Conference, ADE, and EMC Australia. He also has a Guinness World Record for the largest pillow fight in history and is working on setting up his own micronation. He co-created and was the creative director for I Feel Love, an immersive concert experience reimagining Studio 54, in partnership with Universal Music Group, and worked on the project together with his wife, Monica.


Monica is a leading experiential and integrated entertainment marketer. She was most recently the experiential account director at Giant Spoon before being laid off due to COVID-19 after their SXSW, E3 & SDCC activations were canceled. Prior to that, she oversaw experiential activations at Warner Bros. Pictures working on events for titles such as Ready Player One, Wonder Woman, and IT. Monica also has extensive experience in integrated and digital marketing, bridging the gap between brands, talent, and editorial publications, and enabling her to approach any project or marketing goal holistically.
