Bags Are Packed and We’re Bound for BUKU!

By AmberLynn Anderson

Alright guys, super excited about this one! I’ve never personally been to New Orleans but I’ve been planning this sporadically with so much excitement in my heart I don’t even know where to begin! So from what I’ve seen and read online the festival itself seems amazing! I haven’t been to a show or festival in over a year due to recently giving birth to my son, Xander. What a ride it’s been, I’m just really excited to get back out there!

To get straight to the point: this festival is stacked! Tyler The Creator, Flume and Illenium are up first and wow, what great headliners…the first 3 should be enough to go anyways! Glass Animals are also headlining alongside Run The Jewels and Sucideboys, Alison Wonderland, Kaytranada, Chris Lake and Zeds Dead; I can’t believe how stacked this lineup is. Other acts include Megan Thee Stallion, Flatbush Zombies and my personal favorite Taking Back Sunday! It doesn’t even stop there though-Space Jesus, Troyboi, Svdden Death, Mija and Channel Tres are also going to be shining their bright light (literally and figuratively) at the Buku festival this year.

Definitely a little nervous as this is my first time being away from my baby at all since he’s been born but I couldn’t be happier with the choice of the festival and, of course, to see everyone’s bright and shining faces! I’m truly happy to be sharing this experience with everyone so if you see me out, give me a hug! Raging face in New Orleans is going to be a highlight of this year for sure! If you were unaware Buku has after party tickets on sale now featuring Deadbeats,Moon.Dot, Spicy Boris and so much more, Buku also has single day passes as well as travel packages to make things a little bit simpler!
